On 10 February an Intersessional meeting of the Human Rights Council on the Prevention of Genocide took place in Geneva. The meeting was mandated by the resolution initiated by Armenia.

Both sides highlighted the imperative for a political settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue within the framework of the peace process under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship.
