At the opening of the annual gathering of the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and heads of Armenia’s diplomatic missions abroad, held in Gyumri, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan delivered opening remarks.  

On August 19, the Joint Communiqué on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of South Sudan has been signed.

By decree of Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Ani Avetisyan has been appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

On August 17, in Paris, consultations on African issues were held between the Foreign Ministries of the Republic of Armenia and the French Republic.

On August 18, Acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan  received Philipp Hoffmann, Member of the Committee on Economic Cooperation and Development of the German Bundestag.  

On August 18 Acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia had a meeting with Defence Secretary of the Republic of India Rajesh Kumar Singh.  

On August 18, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received Abraham Hamadeh, Member of the U.S. House Committee on Armed Services.  

On August 15, in Kyiv, Acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan participated in the celebrations  marking the 975th anniversary of the founding of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.  

On August 15, Acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan had a meeting with Oleksandr Merezhko, Chair of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

On August 14, Acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan, as part of his working visit to Kyiv, met with Olena Kondratiuk, Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
