Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, both Armenia and Uruguay went through the long and eventful course.

On August 14, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with Rodolfo Nin Novoa, the Foreign Minister of Uruguay, who is in Armenia on an official visit.
