Newly appointed Ambassador of India handed the copies of his credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister Avet Adonts

On August 14, Deputy Foreign Minister Avet Adonts received Kishan Dan Dewal, the newly appointed Ambassador of India to Armenia, on the occasion of presenting the copies of his credentials.  

Congratulating the newly appointed Ambassador, Avet Adonts wished him success in his mission and expressed confidence that the Ambassador would make an important contribution to the deepening of friendly relations between Armenia and India.

Ambassador of India expressed gratitude for a warm reception and good wishes and emphasized that his country is deeply interested in deepening relations with Armenia and developing cooperation in political, economic and cultural spheres, and assured that during his tenure he will spare no effort to achieve those goals.

During the meeting Avet Adonts and Kishan Dan Dewal touched upon a number of issues on the bilateral agenda, emphasized the organization of high-level mutual visits, holding interdepartmental consultations, development of trade and economic cooperation, activation of cultural exchanges.  

Interlocutors exchanged views on a number of international, as well as regional issues and on the ways of their solution.
