On August 13, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan received Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Armenia Muhammetgeldy Ayazov.

During the meeting the sides discussed issues related to the Armenian-Turkmen bilateral agenda, in particular the prospects of deepening cooperation in the fields of energy, trade and economy.

Sides also touched upon the details of the forthcoming visit of the Armenian delegation to Turkmenistan, at the level of deputy ministers of various government agencies, which will be held in the framework of preparatory works of the Armenia’s high-level visit.
