The second session of the Armenia-EU Partnership Council was held in Brussels

On June 13, the second session of the Armenia-EU Partnership Council was held in Brussels chaired by Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, Foreign Minister of Armenia, and Federica Mogherini, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy / Vice-President of the European Commission.

Members of the delegation of Armenia were Vigen Kocharyan, the Deputy Minister of Justice, Hakob Vardanyan and Bagrat Badalyan, Deputy Ministers of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, Irina Ghaplanyan, Deputy Minister of Environment, and Sedrak Barseghyan, Head of the office of the Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.

During the session a wide range of issues of the Armenia-EU partnership agenda was touched upon.

At the session Minister Mnatsakanyan informed that within the framework of events, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership, on October 9 Armenia will host an event, dedicated to the youth empowerment and innovation.

A joint statement was adopted on the outcomes of the second Armenia-EU Partnership Council.

At the end of the session Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and the EU High Representative Federica Mogherini held a joint press conference.
