Meeting of Zohrab Mnatsakanyan with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro Srđan Darmanović

On December 6, on the margins of the 25th OSCE Ministerial Council in Milan, acting Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with Montenegrin Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Srđan Darmanović.

The Foreign Ministers discussed a range of issues of mutual interest and touched upon prospects for expanding existing bilateral cooperation in a number of areas, highlighting tourism, innovation, and high technology as primary directions. In the context of strengthening the political dialogue between Armenia and Montenegro, the interlocutors stressed the importance of organizing high-level visits and periodic political consultations between the two foreign ministries.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan briefed his colleague on domestic political developments in Armenia, reiterating the government’s commitment to holding free and fair parliamentary elections which reflect the will of the people.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Srđan Darmanović exchanged views on prospects for enhancing cooperation within multilateral formats.

The acting Foreign Minister of Armenia also touched upon the priorities and approaches of the Armenian side on the peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
