We strongly condemn the joint visit of the Presidents of Turkey and Azerbaijan on June 15 to the Armenian historic and cultural center of Artsakh - Shushi, which is currently under the Azerbaijani occupation, as an outright provocation against region

All Armenian prisoners of war and civilian captives held in Azerbaijan must be immediately released and repatriated without any preconditions.  

These provocative actions by the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan are aimed at further aggravating the situation, which could seriously undermine regional peace and stability.  

We strongly condemn the blatant armed encroachment against the sovereign territory of Armenia - the UN member state, which is a violation of the norms of international law.  

Azerbaijan continues to use Armenian prisoners of war as political hostages, and continues the policy of torture and psychological pressure on them.  

On May 20, the European Parliament by an overwhelming majority passed a resolution on Armenian prisoners of war held in Azerbaijani captivity, which also touched upon the broader context of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and regional security.

We welcome the calls made by the European Parliament in its annual report on Turkey, particularly, those to recognize the Armenian Genocide and to refrain from anti-Armenian propaganda. We urge Turkey to respect these calls, including refraining

The imposition of conditions with the threat or use of force is a gross violation of international law. Armenia will not give in to such pressures.

We would like to once again emphasize that the Azerbaijani side made an incursion in the sovereign territory of Armenia. We highly appreciate the calls of our international partners addressed to Azerbaijan to immediately withdraw its armed units from
