Media representatives wishing to cover the COP17 Leaders’ Summit on Biodiversity, to be held in Yerevan on October 16, 2026, are required to obtain accreditation by October 4, 2026.

Applications should be submitted by email to media@mfa.am and must include the following:

• Name of the media outlet;
• Full name and position of the media representative, in English;
• A copy of the representative’s passport or other identification document (.pdf or .jpg format);
• A recent photograph of the representative (.jpg format, for use on the name badge);
• A letter addressed to the Department of Media and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Armenia, signed and stamped by the head or editor-in-chief of the media outlet (.pdf format).
• Confirmation of Media Accreditation for CBD COP17 Blue Zone (Subject to Availability)

Representatives with Valid 2026 Annual Accreditation

Media representatives who hold valid 2026 annual accreditation issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Armenia may indicate in their email that they are already accredited. In this case, they only need to submit:

• Name of the media outlet;
• Full name of the media representative, in English;
• A recent photograph (.jpg format).

Further information regarding the distribution of name badges and the organization of media activities will be provided separately to accredited media representatives.

Please indicate “COP17 Leaders’ Summit” in the subject line of the email.

Applications submitted after the deadline or those that do not meet the specified requirements will not be considered.
