On September 25, in New York, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal Shisir Khanal.

The interlocutors discussed opportunities for the development of bilateral relations between Armenia and Nepal. Particular importance was attached to promoting cooperation on climate, as well as business ties in the fields of renewable energy, information technology and artificial intelligence.

The Ministers exchanged views on cooperation within multilateral platforms, including in the context of the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity to be held in Yerevan.
