On May 6, on the margins of the "Yerevan Dialogue" international forum, a closed discussion entitled “The Right to Reliable Information During Elections” was held in partnership with the Forum on Information and Democracy.

The discussion was moderated by Davit Karapetyan, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

The event was attended by high-ranking officials, ambassadors, and sector experts, who exchanged views on protecting the right to reliable information during electoral processes and strengthening the resilience of democratic systems.

During the discussion, participants addressed the growing challenges posed by disinformation and misinformation, particularly their impact on democratic processes and elections. The importance of transparency, institutional stability, and international cooperation was emphasized as essential to effectively countering information threats and strengthening public trust.
