On May 6, the first political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Angola were held on the margins of the "Yerevan Dialogue" international forum. The consultations were co-chaired by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan and Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of Angola Esmeralda Bravo Conde da Silva Mendonça.

The interlocutors noted with satisfaction the activation of political dialogue between Armenia and Angola. The Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia and the State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Angola discussed prospects for expanding the bilateral agenda, including cooperation in the fields of trade and economy, high technologies, education, mining, and healthcare.

The sides also exchanged views on deepening cooperation within multilateral platforms.
