Meeting between the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia and representatives of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation
07 May, 2026On May 6, on the margins of the "Yerevan Dialogue" international forum, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan met with Thomas Tödtling, Executive Director of the New York office, and Jakob Wöllenstein, Head of the South Caucasus Office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisoghomonyan briefed the interlocutors on recent regional developments, emphasizing the importance of further strengthening and institutionalizing peace in the South Caucasus.
The Deputy Foreign Minister provided details on the "TRIP" project, underscoring its vital importance for fully unlocking the connectivity potential and logistical opportunities in the South Caucasus.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed the preparations for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, which will be hosted by Armenia this year, as well as prospects for cooperation.
A wide range of international and regional issues was also addressed.
