Meeting of the Secretaries General of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Estonia

On January 26 the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Davit Karapetyan met with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Jonathan Vseviov.

During the meeting, issues related to the prospects for further deepening cooperation between Armenia and Estonia on bilateral and multilateral platforms were discussed, highlighting the effective collaboration established between the foreign ministries of the two countries.

The interlocutors also touched upon issues related to the preparatory work for the 8th Summit of the European Political Community, as well as the “Yerevan Dialogue” forum, both scheduled to take place in Yerevan in May 2026.

The parties also exchanged views on international and regional issues of mutual interest. Davit Karapetyan briefed his counterpart on developments in the South Caucasus, including the adoption of the implementation framework of the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP) project, emphasizing the economic opportunities expected from the implementation of this project, as well as from other initiatives aimed at enhancing regional connectivity.
