On November 2, in the Administrative Capital of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan had a meeting with Wael Hamed, Deputy Foreign Minister of Egypt.

The interlocutors held a thorough discussion on the practical implementation of the agreements achieved during the April consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries and reaffirmed their readiness to further deepen cooperation in the fields of tourism, infrastructure, healthcare and high technologies.

Both sides underscored the importance of convening a session of the Intergovernmental Commission between Armenia and Egypt in the near future, which is expected to provide renewed impetus to the development of bilateral relations.

Vahan Kostanyan and Wael Hamed exchanged views on the current developments in the peace processes in the South Caucasus and the Middle East.
