Meeting of Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan with Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia Kan Pharidh

On October 16, in Kampala, on the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan had a meeting with Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia Kan Pharidh. 

The interlocutors exchanged views on prospects for enhancing cooperation between Armenia and Cambodia within the framework of international organizations and multilateral formats. The effective cooperation established between the two countries within the International Organization of la Francophonie was emphasized. 

Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisoghomonyan briefed on the latest regional developments and reaffirmed the commitment of Armenia to the unblocking of transport infrastructure in the South Caucasus, based on the principles of respect for the sovereignty, territorial integrity and national jurisdiction of all states, as well as of reciprocity. 

During the meeting, the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity, to be hosted by Armenia in 2026, was touched upon.

The sides discussed opportunities for enhancing and deepening sectoral cooperation within the bilateral framework.
