On September 9, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Burundi Ernest Ndabashinze (with residence in Rome), on the occasion of handing over the copy of credentials. 

Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment, the Deputy Minister expressed hope that he would exert every effort to strengthen Armenia-Burundi relations and further develop cooperation. 

Views were exchanged on ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of education and digital technologies.
