On August 19, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Iran Seyed Abbas Araghchi, who arrived in Yerevan as part of the delegation of the President of Iran.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Seyed Abbas Araghchi emphasized the importance of the agreements reached within the framework of the strategic partnership between the two countries and discussed the work to be carried out in that direction.

Following the discussions held at the level of the leaders, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Iran also addressed the opportunities arising from the unblocking of regional communications and the mutual understanding established on this matter.
