On June 19, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan received the Delegation headed by the Chairman of Polish-Armenian friendship group of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Lucjan Marek Pietrzczyk.

The parties commended the level of bilateral political dialogue, to be complemented by necessary steps to further expand ties in the fields of economy, finances, high-tech and tourism.  

At the meeting, the ongoing efforts aimed at deepening the Armenia-EU partnership and the ongoing active dialogue with EU member states were discussed, with particular emphasis placed on the support provided by Poland in this regard.

Deputy Minister Kostanyan thanked Poland for the support in launching the Armenia-EU visa liberalization dialogue, while also stressing the importance of addressing the hurdles currently existing in the process of issuing visas to citizens of the Republic of Armenia.

A number of international and regional issues of mutual interest have been touched upon.
