On May 28, under the chairmanship of Tajikistan, the 32nd meeting of the Consultative Council of Heads of Consular Services of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the CIS Member States was held in Dushanbe. Delegations from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republics of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, the Russian Federation, as well as a representative of the CIS Executive Committee, participated in the meeting.

The Armenian side was represented by the Head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Arthur Petrosyan.

The agenda of the meeting included the implementation of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of April 24, 1963, cooperation among the parties within the framework of the Convention  on Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family, and Criminal Mattersof October 7, 2002, the issues of protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens, as well as the recognition of electronic documents.
