On May 27, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Vahan Kostanyan, had a meeting with the Minister of State of the State of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi.

The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral relations. They also touched upon opportunities for promoting investments.

The Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia and the Minister of State of Qatar exchanged views on the security situation in the South Caucasus and the Middle East, the potential for expanding cooperation, and the implementation of joint projects. At the guest's request, Deputy Foreign Minister Kostanyan presented the current situation regarding the signing of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
