On May 26, on the sidelines of the "Yerevan Dialogue" international forum, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Vahan Kostanyan, had a meeting with Marko Štucin, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia.

Both sides commended the high-level political dialogue between Armenia and Slovenia and emphasized the importance of high-level visits and regular contacts.

The parties discussed the development of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of trade, economy, investment, science, education, information technologies, tourism, as well as steps aimed at establishing collaboration between the "Yerevan Dialogue" and the Bled Strategic Forum.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on the possibilities of further deepening the Armenia-European Union partnership.

Issues related to international and regional developments were also touched upon. Deputy Minister Kostanyan emphasized the importance of signing the Agreement on Peace and Establishment of Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the effective unblocking of regional communications.
