On May 26, in the framework of the “Yerevan Dialogue” international forum, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Secretary General of the European External Action Service (EEAS) Belen Martinez Carbonell.

The interlocutors discussed the Armenia-EU New Partnership Agenda, emphasizing that this document will mark a new and significant milestone in deepening Armenia’s comprehensive cooperation with the European Union.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Belen Martinez Carbonell discussed concrete mechanisms, effective implementation of which corresponds to the political will expressed at the highest level by both Armenia and the EU to deepen the bilateral partnership.

Touching upon current geopolitical trends, Minister Mirzoyan underscored the importance of strengthening like-minded partnerships, based on shared democratic principles, and making timely decisions that meet present-day challenges.

Regional developments were also discussed during the meeting.
