The newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria presented the copy of his credentials to the Deputy Foreign Minister Avet Adonts

On April 23, Deputy Minister Avet Adonts received the newly appointed Ambassador of Bulgaria to Armenia Kalin Anastasov on the occasion of presenting the copies of his credentials.

Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment, Deputy Minister Adonts wished him a fruitful and productive work and success in his important and responsible mission.

Expressing gratitude for the reception and best wishes, Ambassador Anastasov noted that he would make every effort to deepen and strengthen relations between the two countries, to advance the Armenian-Bulgarian agenda.

The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues related to the Armenian-Bulgarian relations, including the prospects of promoting bilateral political and economic relations and developing mutually beneficial cooperation in various spheres.

Deputy Minister Adonts presented the humanitarian situation in Artsakh and the steps being undertaken to solve urgent issues. The interlocutors expressed concern over the politicization of the humanitarian assistance process and the creation of artificial obstacles.

Before the meeting the newly appointed Ambassador of Bulgaria to the Republic of Armenia was received by the Head of the European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Samvelian, with whom a wide range of issues related to bilateral relations were discussed.
