The expert meeting on Draft Agreement on the Establishment of the “Persian Gulf-Black Sea International Transport and Transit Corridor” took place at the MFA of the RA

On April 19, the 5th expert meeting on Draft Agreement on the Establishment of the “Persian Gulf-Black Sea International Transport and Transit Corridor” took place at the  Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. The delegations of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Bulgaria, Georgia, the Hellenic Republic and the Islamic Republic of Iran took part in the meeting.

The RA Deputy Foreign Minister Gagik Ghalachyan and the RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Armen Simonyan made opening remarks.

The delegations thanked the Republic of Armenia for organizing the meeting and holding effective discussions. The delegates of the five participating States reaffirmed their interest in drafting and signing the Agreement.

The sides discussed the provisions not agreed upon at the previous meeting on the Draft Agreement. A protocol was signed to hold the next expert meeting in the Republic of Bulgaria and to conclude the discussions of the Draft Agreement on the Establishment of the “Persian Gulf-Black Sea International Transport and Transit Corridor”.
