On October 9, at the call of the President of Russian Federation, consultations between the Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov were held in Moscow.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cessation of hostilities, exchange of prisoners of war and bodies of those killed for humanitarian purposes.

At the end of the meeting, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia adopted a joint statement.
