On September 29, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan held phone conversations with a number of his foreign partners - with Minister for European Neighborhood & Americas of the United Kingdom Wendy Morton, Foreign Minister of Austria Alexander Schallenberg, Foreign Minister of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs and Foreign Minister of the Netherlands Stef Blok.

The Foreign Minister of Armenia briefed his partners on the recent developments on the line of contact with Nagorno-Karabakh and on the state border of Armenia, resulting from the large-scale military operations by Azerbaijan. Zohrab Mnatsakanyan underscored that the targeting of civilian population and infrastructure with the use of weaponry of different calibers manifests the aggressive policy of the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan.

Regarding Turkey’s unconditional support to Azerbaijan, the Foreign Minister of Armenia noted that the involvement of Turkey in the conflict bears serious consequences and is a direct threat to regional security.
