On June 26, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan participated in “Strengthening the multilateral health architecture: Combating infodemics” online virtual Ministerial Conference chaired by the Foreign Ministers of France and Germany. The conference was attended by the Director General of the WHO, the Director General of UNESCO, the Secretary General of “Reporters Without Borders” and the Foreign Ministers of about 50 countries from different regions.

The agenda of the discussion of the Ministerial Conference included the topics related to strengthening the multilateral health architecture and combating infodemics.

In his remarks addressed to the participants of the conference, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan considered symbolic the conduct of the conference on the anniversary of signing of UN Charter. This once again amplifies the core message of this very Alliance that strong global cooperation, solidarity, and effective multilateralism are instrumental tools, aimed at not only containing and countering the current unprecedented challenges caused by the Covid-19 pandemic but also sustaining functional international society.
