On June 19, political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan were held on the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers via video conference.

During the consultations, the Deputy Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan Shavarsh Kocharyan and Azizbek Madmarov discussed the prospects for intensifying cooperation in the bilateral and multilateral formats, by emphasizing a number of regional and international agenda issues of mutual interest.

The perspectives of deepening trade, economic and humanitarian relations were also discussed during consultations. The sides emphasized the need of organizing the planned session of the intergovernmental commission.

During the meeting the importance of regular consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs on different levels and between various departments was stressed.
