On September 25 in New York Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan on the margins of the UN GA 74th session met the US Acting Assistant Secretary of European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Reeker. 

The interlocutors discussed a number of issues related to bilateral relations, expressing readiness to implement the agreements signed in the framework of Armenia-US Strategic Dialogue. The interlocutors reflected on a number of topical issues on international and regional agenda.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan informed his interlocutor about the meeting with Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan on September 23, expressing his gratitude to the US alongside with the OSCE Co-Chairs-Russia and France for the efforts on Nagorno-Karabakh peaceful settlement.

The parties stressed the importance of creating an environment conducive to peace, including through the strengthening of the ceasefire regime  and excluding the militaristic rhetoric.
