On August 31, the participants of the Annual Conference of MFA Apparatus and Heads of Diplomatic Service Аbroad met with Zareh Sinanyan, High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs. 

Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Zareh Sinanyan, High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, addressed their remarks to the participants. 

Highlighting the importance of holding a meeting in such format, Minister Mnatsakanyan noted: 

"We have had extensive discussions within the Government with the Prime Minister on the formation of the institutional system of organizing our work with the Diaspora. We have fixed the principle of “pan-Arminianism” in foreign policy. Institutionally, I think we have first-hand experience and memory. Our embassies are a direct link to our daily, direct contact with the Diaspora. The immense potential of the Diaspora is expressed both in Armenia's development agenda, in interstate relations, and in its role in complementing, supporting and promoting the principle of pan-Armenianness.”

Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to have a dialogue with the heads of diplomatic service, Zareh Sinanyan highlighted the importance of holding a meeting and an open conversation between the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs and Foreign Ministry.

The participants exchanged detailed views on fundamental principles of the foreign policy of Armenia and broadening and deepening the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora cooperation.
