Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with Georgios Katrougalos, Foreign Minister of Greece

On June 4, in Athens, Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with Giorgos Katrougalos, Foreign Minister of Greece.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Giorgos Katrougalos exchanged views on a number of issues of bilateral agenda. The Foreign Ministers reiterated their mutual commitment to strengthen traditional ties and cooperation in all spheres of mutual interest based on the existing potential.

Foreign Ministers Mnatsakanyan and Katrougalos commended the new trilateral  Armenia-Greece-Cyprus platform and underscored that it opens new prospects for effective development and deepening of relations in political, economic, cultural and educational spheres.

Touching upon the Armenia-EU cooperation, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan highlighted the importance of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement as a solid legal basis for cooperation on both bilateral and multilateral formats with the EU and the EU member states. The interlocutors exchanged views on the perspectives of collaboration within the framework of various integration formats aimed at taking a full advantage of opportunities provided by those formats.

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Greece  addressed a number of international and regional agenda issues.
