The meeting of Zohrab Mnatsakanyan with Aurelia Frick, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Education and Culture of Liechtenstein

On February 15, while participating in the Munich Security Conference, Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan had a meeting with Aurelia Frick, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Education and Culture of Liechtenstein.

During the meeting both sides highlighted the steps aimed at intensification of bilateral relations between Armenia and Liechtenstein.

The interlocutors touched upon a number of issues related to bilateral and multilateral agenda, underscoring the importance of active and effective cooperation in international structures. Zohrab Mnatsakanyan presented the consistent steps of Armenia on the international platform aimed at the prevention of genocide and the crimes against humanity.  The Foreign Minister of Armenia noted that the prevention agenda has been among the priorities of Armenia's foreign policy for more than twenty years and Armenia is persistent in its principled position on this issue. Highlighting the efforts of the international community in this direction, the Foreign Ministers of two countries expressed readiness to engage in closer cooperation on the prevention agenda.

Minister Mnatsakanyan briefed Aurelia Frick on the recent domestic political developments in Armenia and foreign policy priorities.

Throughout the meeting a number of regional and international urgent issues were also discussed.
