On November 1, acting Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan received the representative of the Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to Armenia Claire Meytraud, who presented copies of her credentials.

After congratulating Claire Meytraud on her appointment to such a responsible position, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan noted that he attaches great importance to the humanitarian mission of the ICRC in Armenia and Artsakh and highly appreciates the continuing work of the Committee in the zone of Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

The interlocutors exchanged views on efforts to strengthen the effective cooperation established between Armenia and the ICRC. Highlighting the importance of the ICRC’s mission, Mnatsakanyan stressed that humanitarian processes should never be subject to political manipulation.
