On October 29th, acting Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Ivan Popov (Russia), Stephane Visconti (France), Andrew Schofer (USA), as well as the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan expressed satisfaction with the positive dynamics developed in this regard.

The acting Foreign Minister of Armenia and the Co-Chairs touched upon the agreements reached during the September meeting between the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan in Dushanbe. Zohrab Mnatsakanyan stressed that the implementation of these agreements is aimed at creating and promoting an environment conducive to peace.

Minister Mnatsakanyan noted that the necessity of refraining from bellicose and unconstructive rhetoric remains relevant.

The sides discussed future steps to be taken within the format of the Co-Chairmanship. In this regard Zohrab Mnatsakanyan noted that the fact that after Yerevan the Co-Chairs will visit Stepanakert, then Baku, will provide an opportunity to more comprehensively outline the further steps.
