Political consultations between Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Ukraine held in Yerevan

On October 18, political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Ukraine were held in Yerevan on the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers.

During the consultations, the delegations headed by Deputy Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Ukraine, Shavarsh Kocharyan and Vasily Bondar respectively, issues of intensifying the inter-parliamentary collaboration, promoting decentralized cooperation, expanding legal framework between the two countries were discussed.

The sides underscored the necessity of holding the next session of intergovernmental commission in the context of deepening trade and economic relations.

Among the issues of bilateral agenda, the interlocutors highlighted the importance of regular consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs on different levels and between various departments. The Deputy Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Ukraine discussed in details the perspectives of strengthening cooperation in multilateral format, by emphasizing a number of regional and international agenda issues of mutual interest.
