On October 15, Deputy Foreign Minister Ashot Hovakimian had a meeting in a working lunch format with George Kent, the newly appointed US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, who is in Yerevan within the framework of regional visit.

A number of issues related to bilateral relations and prospects of their development were discussed at the meeting. A special reference was made to the agenda and the dates of the regular sitting of the Armenian-American intergovernmental joint commission.
