Meeting of Armenian and Serbian Foreign Ministers

On October 12, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with Ivica Dačić, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, who is in Armenia within the framework of the Summit of International Organization of La Francophonie.

The Foreign Ministers of the two countries discussed a number of issues of bilateral agenda, exchanged views on further intensification of the political dialogue, invigoration of trade and economic ties, and increase of volumes of tourism.

The counterparts also focused on the issues related to deepening the cooperation in international structures, as well as on a number of urgent regional issues.

Minister Mnatsakanyan briefed his vis-à-vis on the latest internal political developments in Armenia, the reforms implemented by the government on the basis of the wide popular mandate.

The heads of Armenian and Serbian Foreign Ministries touched upon the works of the 17th Summit and the priorities of Armenia's presidency in the organization, expressing conviction that the results of the Yerevan summit will reinvigorate the activities of the organization based on the values ​​and principles proclaimed by La Francophonie.
