Foreign minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with the State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia

On October 9, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with the State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia Viktor Dimovski, who is in Armenia to participate in the 35th Ministerial Conference of the OIF.

During the meeting, the interlocutors expressed readiness to exert joint efforts towards expanding the bilateral agenda of the two countries and further deepening the cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The two exchanged thoughts concerning the organization and agenda of the OIF Ministerial Conference and the 17th Summit of La Francophonie. In this context, State Secretary Dimovski commended the high level of organization of the events. The heads of Foreign Ministries of the two countries emphasized the importance of La Francophonie as an effective platform for strengthening bilateral and multilateral ties between member states.

Mnatsakanyan briefed his counterpart on the latest domestic political developments that took place in Armenia, outlining the priorities of the programme of the new government and touching upon the course of reforms that are being carried out on the basis of broad popular mandate.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Viktor Dimovski exchanged thoughts on developments taking place in the Caucasus and the Balkans, discussed the existing issues and the steps that are being taken to solve  them.
