Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Kazakhstan

On September 27, a meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Kazakhstan, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Kairat Abdrakhmanov took place in New York.

The Foreign Ministers discussed issues related to collaboration in bilateral and multilateral formats, outlined the joint steps aimed at further deepening of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation.

Presenting the development agenda of the government based upon the wide mandate given by the people, as well as Armenia’s achievements and experience in the field of innovation and high technologies, Armenian Foreign Minister highlighted the importance of initiating projects aimed at bilateral cooperation in this field.

The heads of Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Kazakhstan exchanged views with regards several urgent international and regional issues. Touching upon the positions and priorities of the Armenian side regarding the process of peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Armenian Foreign Minister underlined the necessity of creating an environment conducive to peace for advancing the negotiation process.
