On September 27, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met in New York with Peter Maurer, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

Foreign Minister noted that Armenia greatly values the ICRC humanitarian mission, its continuous activity in Armenia and Artsakh, and commended the implementation of projects aimed at supporting the residents of border areas.

During the meeting, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan emphasized that Armenia is committed to the principles of international humanitarian law and appreciates the cooperation with the ICRC in the course of their practical implementation.

The parties discussed a number of issues of bilateral interest, expressing readiness to continue the cooperation.
