On October 10, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian met Minister of External Relations and Cooperation of Comoros Mohammed Abdoulkarim on the sidelines of the 31st session of Conference of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF).

Welcoming the guest, Minister Nalbandian attached importance to the OIF platform for the development of ties between the two states and peoples.

Minister of External Relations and Cooperation of Comoros congratulated for the high-level of organization of Conference of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the International Organization of La Francophonie, stressed that from the airport on he felt the warmth of reception of delegations arriving in Yerevan. Touching upon opportunities of bilateral cooperation, he said, “Geography cannot be a hindrance and we are ready to develop and expand our relations.”

The Ministers placed significance to the Memorandum of Cooperation to-be-signed between the MFAs that would enable fostering of ties between the two states in different fields.
