On April 3rd Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met the official representative of Iran’s Foreign Ministry Ramin Mehmanparast.

Welcoming the guest, the Minister commended the friendly relations between Armenia and Iran and noted that the reciprocal visits on different levels contribute to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Ramin Mehmanparast said that his visit was very informative, and during the meaningful meetings agreements were reached about cooperation between the Armenian and Iranian media outlets.

During the meeting the importance of regular contacts between the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Iran was highlighted.

In the context of discussion of regional issues Minister Nalbandian appreciated Iran’s balanced position on the Karabakh issue.
