The Armenian Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandian met with his Slovenian counterpart Samuel Zbogar

On April 13, the Armenian Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandian, being in Ljubljana as a member of the delegation led by the RA President Serzh Sargsyan who arrived in Slovenia on a state visit, met with his Slovenian counterpart Samuel Zbogar.

In the course of meeting the sides mentioned that the regularity of high-level visits is an important impulse for the developing of relations between the two countries, particularly noting that the agreements reached between the Presidents open a new page in bilateral relations and the readiness to further deepen and strengthen the comprehensive cooperation between Armenia and Slovenia is a proof of it.

During the meeting the Foreign Affairs Ministers of Armenia and Slovenia had a thorough talk on a wide range of issues related to the further development of the Armenian-Slovenian relations, particularly the steps undertaken towards the interaction in the international organizations, conducting of consultations between the MFAs of the two countries, intensification of economic cooperation and cultural exchanges.

Edward Nalbandian and Samuel Zbogar touched upon the relations between Armenia and the EU and the programs which are being implemented within that formats.

The Foreign Affairs Ministers of the two countries exchanged views on the issues related to maintaining of security in the South Caucasus, as well as existing problems and ways of their solution.
