On March 27, the Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian who was in the delegation led by the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan arrived in Teheran, met with his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi.

In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral relations.

Edward Nalbandian and Ali Akbar Salehi reaffirmed the readiness for further deepening and strengthening of mutually beneficial bilateral relations.

Stressing the importance of reciprocal regular contacts, Edward Nalbandian invited his Iranian counterpart to pay a visit to Armenia.
