The Ambassador of Switzerland presents the copies of his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian
03 December, 2010On December 3, the Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the newly appointed Ambassador of Switzerland to Armenia Günther Baechler (residence in Tbilisi) on the occasion of presenting the copies of his credentials.
Congratulating Ambassador Baechler on the occasion of his appointment, Minister Nalbandian expressed hope that he will have his contribution to the further strengthening of friendly relations between Armenia and Switzerland.
Expressing gratitude for the warm words, Ambassador Baechler assured that he would do his utmost for the deepening of the Armenian-Swiss relations.
In the course of the meeting the sides touched upon issues of cooperation between Armenia and Switzerland in the frames of international organizations.
Views were exchanged on a number of international and regional issues.
