On November 29, the Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Peter Semneby, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus.

\n

Summarizing the achievements of the previous year in Armenia’s European integration policy, the sides mentioned with satisfaction that the relations between Armenia and the EU are continuing to develop dynamically on both multilateral and bilateral formats with the member-states. 

\n

\n

In the course of the meeting, the preparatory work of meeting between Armenia and the Council of Europe to be held at the beginning of December, as well as details of the upcoming visit of the Armenian Foreign Minister to Brussels were discussed. 

\n

Minister Nalbandian underlined that Armenia would continue to undertake efficient steps towards the further strengthening of relations.

\n

The sides exchanged views on the issues related to drafting of Association Agreement in the context of the Eastern Partnership Program, signing of Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement and visa facilitation.

\n The sides touched upon the recent developments in the negotiation process on Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) issue.
