We welcome the European Union’s approval of the mandate for launching negotiations on signing Association Agreement with Armenia.

By that step we open a way for conducting dialogue on the establishment of qualitatively new relations between the European Union and Armenia.

The contacts between Brussels and Yerevan will become more active, and we will have more intensive negotiations with the leadership of the European Union.

It is also good news on the eve of the visit of the Armenian President to Brussels, which will create a good opportunity for holding essential consultations with the leadership of the European Union.
