On March 5, Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian met with Vojtěch Filip, the Vice-Chairperson of the Chamber of the Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic.

Welcoming the guest, Minister Nalbandian said that during the recent period relations with the Czech Republic are intensively developing and the decision has been taken to open the Armenian Embassy in Prague in order to give promote them.

The two touched upon the joint steps to be undertaken in the direction of further strengthening Armenian-Czech relations by attaching importance to the organization of high-level visit, the intensification of interparliamentary cooperation, the promotion of economic interaction and cultural exchanges.

They both attached importance to the upcoming visit of the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic to Armenia.

Edward Nalbandiana and Vojtěch Filip exchanged views on a number of regional issues.
