Ambassador of Albania presents the copies of his credentials to Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian

On December 21, Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian received Vili Minarolli, the newly appointed Ambassador of Albania to Armenia (residence in Athens) on the occasion of presenting of copies of his credentials.

Congratulating the Ambassador on the appointment Minister Nalbandian reiterated that Foreign Ministry would provide entire support to the Ambassador during his diplomatic mission.

Recalling his visit to Tirana on October 2008 and mutual determination to strengthen bilateral relations expressed during the meetings with Foreign Minister and Prime Minister of Albania, Minister Nalbandian expressed hope that Ambassador Minarolli will have his important contribution in the development of bilateral relations and implementation of agreements.

In the course of the meeting, the two discussed issues of mutual interest, attached importance to the necessity of intensification of political, economic and cultural ties between Armenia and Albania.
They agreed to hold regular consultations between Foreign Ministries of the two countries and to undertake steps for the formation of solid legal field.

Minister Nalbandian and Ambassador Minarolli exchanged views on issues of the Caucasian and Balkan regions.

Minister Nalbandian asked to convey to Foreign Minister of Albania Ilir Meta the invitation to visit Yerevan.
